JESUS IS THE GIVER OF THE WATER OF LIFE

Bible Symbolism
in Genesis

John 4:  6. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7. There comes a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus said to her, Give me a drink. 8. (For his disciples were gone away to the city to buy food.) 9. Then the woman of Samaria said to him, How is it that you, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10. Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me a drink; you would  have asked of him, and he would have given you living water. 11. The woman said to him, Sir, you hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from where then do you get that living water? 12. Are thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank of it himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13. Jesus answered and said to her, Who ever drinks of this water shall thirst again: 14. But who ever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15. The woman said to him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come here to draw.

John 7:37. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man is thirsty, let him come to me, and drink. 38. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39. (But this spoke he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) 40. Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

Revelation 22 1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve different fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4. And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever...... 17. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And who ever is willing, let him take the water of life freely.
