THE GOALS OF GODS GOVERNMENT ON EARTH

    The Government
of God

The Lords prayer: What we are to seek from him and labor towards.

Matthew 6:10. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

That mankind is the vehicle for Gods Government on earth.

Daniel 7:27. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

That his moral governance is accepted by the world voluntarily, it cannot be imposed. If it was imposed which is a physical impossibility anyway. It would not be the glory of God as mankind and their civilizations would not be reflecting is glory in thier hearts, thinking and works. The imposition of morality by force does not make people moral.

Psalm 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

That Gods Government takes time to established and it is the righteousness of the saints that is established as the moral standard standard that the world voluntarily acknowledges as the proper standard for human behavior,  right and wrong.

Psalm 37:5. Commit your way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.6. And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday. 2nd Corinthians 5:21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Psalm 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The Goal of the Government of God.

Psalm 22:27. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord: and all the kindred's of the nations shall worship before you. 28. For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations.  Psalm 66:4. All the earth shall worship you, and shall sing to you; they shall sing to your name. Selah.

The finale.

1st Corinthians 15:24. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
