WHAT IS CHURCH?

Does the structure of churches reflect what Christ had in mind or do they reflect the way the world generally does things? How do the beliefs about this subject affect what happens in a church? A series of teachings covering what appears to be systematic failure in thought and actions regarding the nature of a church.  

PART 1
In the gospels Jesus taught his disciples against assuming or creating positions of authority over other believers. Diligently teaching them that their love for one another was to be the bond that his church would be structured around. Part one covers this along with what Jesus said would inevitably happen if positions of "leadership" were created  according to the way the worlds institutions are set up.
